Last night, I popped by Jessica Alba’s Nylon Magazine cover party at Herringbone, withironysfavoritestylist and his adorably amazing client, Michael Willett. It was a lovely LA evening…and I’m not just talking about the weather.
A few favorite wish-fulfillment moments amongst my fellow lost angels…
1. Paparazzi rushing over as we step out of our Uber town car, only to pause abruptly, searching one another’s faces for any glimmer of recognition. "I think they think you’re somebody." Funny, so do I?
2. Rachel Zoe & her dear hubby, Roger, holding court by the photographer. Everyone else? Clamoring (subtly/chicly, obviously) to get in their eye-line…and then proceeding to search their faces for any glimmer of recognition.
3. That one guy you’ve met ten thousand times who still can’t seem to remember your name? He was definitely there.
4. Jessica Alba starting to give sex tips to a Disney kid. Until she realized said Disney kid was actually a child. Ignore all of that until you’re 25….
5. Publicist of said child SO EXCITED for a cocktail once her charge was swept away.
What's a drive-in??
6. Me. Lying about my age. Just kidding!!! (Totally not kidding.)
7. The gift bag. Seriously. Love gift bags. Can’t get enough swagefy. ironysfavoritestylist as denied a bag due to his manhood. Apparently, they are unaware of his sincere love for lotion and hand sanitizer. Personally, I'm going to go ahead and regift the biodegradable baby wipes to my sister.
